Bettina Semmer arbeitet als Künstlerin in Berlin und Sevilla. Ihre Medien sind Malerei, Fotografie und Film, Wandarbeiten und interaktive Projekte mit öffentlichen Malaktionen ("Publikumsjoker") und Interventionen. Auftragsarbeiten wie Kinder- und Familienportraits entstehen seit 1995; bekannt für ihre Kollaboration mit der eigenen Tochter ("Assisted Painting Series") während eines Studiums (MA) am Goldsmiths' College, London; außerdem Lehrerin und Kuratorin in der Gallery 33, Berlin.

Bettina Semmer works as an artist in Berlin and Seville. Her media are painting, photography and film, as well as interactive projects - painting in public and with the public - and in situ wall works. Commissioned portraits of families or children are part of her work since 1995. Famous for the colaboration with her daughter ("Assisted Painting Series") which was made during Goldsmiths' College MA, London, she also works as curator for Gallery 33 in Berlin and as a teacher.
